We try to organise a wide range of events, including parties, keynote speekers, coffee evenings, sport, rambles, games evenings, theatre trips etc. Some of these events are held in the homes of members. We also meet in a local pub once a week.

We often organise sports events, such as badminton, table tennis and ten-pin bowing.

Badminton and Table Tennis Attendees of the Group's regular badminton and table tennis evenings will no doubt be wondering why they have vanished from the diary. Their temporary disappearance is because of a few problems with the sports centre we were using in Hemel Hempstead, and therefore a new venue is being sought. At the moment it looks as if we may have found a suitable venue in St Albans for table tennis, and the newly reopened sports centre in Garston seems promising for badminton. Hopefully both events will soon be back as regular fixtures, certainly by the New Year, so watch this space!
